THREAD COLORS:

Not all designs are offered in all threads colors. Some embroidered designs are limited in color to specific color groups that are known to work well within the design. We do not offer color choices that will not provide a satisfactory look within a particular embroidered design.

THE EMBROIDERY PROCESS:

Your order information is received and input into our embroidery layout system.

Your chosen design is then created, spaced and adjusted using the names and dates that you provided. This is the human skills step. This is the step that makes all the difference in the overall look and the quality of your embroidered order. Individual layout artists now adjust and program name & date size, letter spacing and punctuation. Your spelling is cross-checked for an exact match with your order and the embroidery density and underlay are programmed for your particular order. Highly skilled personnel at this step are critical to achieving a high quality product that will last for years to come. Our layout artists are, simply put, the best and most experienced in the business and our standards will not allow for anything less.

*Note: We know many fine embroiderers other than Digital Threads who will provide you with a quality product and careful work. But lately we are seeing a number of online embroiderers who are unskilled at layout & adjustment and are selling similar products that arrive with poor quality embroidered designs. Many customers have contacted us to see if we could repair or replace lettering and embroidery on a keepsake gift they purchased elsewhere on the internet. Unfortunately, this sort of thing is not possible to repair. Please check the qualifications and skill of whatever embroidery company you choose to use!

Your order is now sent to the embroidery machines for sewing. We use the industry's finest commercial quality embroidery machines to insure the finest quality results time after time. Your purchase is hooped for embroidery, your chosen colors are installed and programmed and the design is carefully monitored during embroidery.

Your order is then removed, quality checked at the machine, then sent for cleanup and packaging.

Your order is now trimmed of excess threads and backing material, checked and adjusted for quality, then folded and package in zippered, clear vinyl bags ready for final boxing, gift packaging and shipment.
