Classic 3 letter monograms have the center letter larger than the letters on each side. This type of monogram is used both for individuals and as a couple's monogram. It is designed to have the last name placed in the larger center position.

Single Person Monogram:

For a individuals monogram the last name goes in the larger center position with the first name on the left and the middle name on the right.

example: John Peter Doe would be monogrammed JDP

Couple's Monogram:

For a couple's monogram the shared last name goes in the larger center position with each persons first name on the side.

example: Tom & Jane Doe would be monogrammed TDJ
